Professor Zhang Chenyu, doctoral supervisor, dean of the School of Life Sciences of Nanjing University, winner of the National Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, Changjiang Scholar. The main research field is the biological function and related mechanism of extracellular RNA, and has more than 15 years of research experience on various RNAs. He took the lead in discovering that miRNA can exist stably outside the cell based on exosomes and opened up a new field of extracellular RNA research. He has published more than 300 important papers in internationally renowned academic journals such as Nature, Science, Cell and their sub-journals, among which 13 papers are listed in the top 1% of ESI global high-scoring papers with more than 5,000 citations. In addition, Professor Zhang Chenyu's achievements were once rated as the top 20 major discoveries in the world that year (2011) by "Scientific American".
Dr. Meng Xia graduated from the University of Paris VI. She has 10+ years of basic research experience in the French National Institute of Medical Sciences (French NIH) and the Curie Institute. She has published more than 30 articles in internationally renowned academic journals such as Clinical Cancer Research, PNAS, and PLoS One. Dr. Meng Xia also has more than 20 years of experience in biotechnology R&D, marketing, business and management. Dr. Meng Xia has served as general manager, chief operating officer, managing director and other executive positions in several multinational companies in China.
